How to tie a bow tie

People can be intimidated by tying a bow tie. You might be glad to know that it's pretty easy to tie a bow tie. The video below is the clearest explanation I've seen, and it's how I learned how to tie one myself. Remember these two things:

1. The three animals! (parrot, fish, elephant)
2. It doesn't have to look perfect! Part of the charm of self-tie bow ties is the slight asymmetry and imperfect knot. Embrace it!
